I just had to take my pet (camera) out for a walk in the neighbourhood again this afternoon. The weather is predicting rain for the next several days, and I just had to get out for a walk.

 

My eye was caught by a wild rose bush growing near an apartment building (converted from the neighbourhood school). All thoughts of photographing the roses were lost the second I noticed several ladybugs moving about on the bush. Then I caught this pair, having a grand old time, without a care in the world to the spectators.

 

It took me about 10 shots before I finally got one in focus, as the breeze would keep moving them, let alone the male's activity, but I wasn't going anywhere until I managed a macro shot of the events. They were still at it when I left minutes later... :))
