Red Lion Handsworth
Rebuilt in 1902-3 by James and Lister Lea for the Holt Brewery Co. On Soho Road. In plum-coloured terracotta on the ground floor and buff terracotta above. The outside has chamged little since it was built - apart from all the posters! Apparently the inside is wonderfully decorated. Been closed for some years and suffering badly as a result. One of several Birmingham pubs on the CAMRA at-risk register.
