Sepia calf in the old barn

Plato, a month old(if that) short-horn bull calf at Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, USA. This is a living history museum recreating a New England village in the 1830's. I have a picture of Plato's mother, Priscilla, being milked, as well as an update on Plato at 5 months in my albums. This photo has little enhancement other than the sepia treatment - the grainy effect is the evening sun shining in on the hay dust. Update: this made the daily dozen in Week One of October on the National Geographic Your Shots site! Made Explore July 23, 2007!
