SbS18: Uncontested Wet Gap Crossing

3rd Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment completes an uncontested wet gap crossing in the vicinity of Chełmno, Poland, June 2, 2018. Forces from the German Bundeswehr and British Royal Army joined their amphibious assets in order to build a ferry to move the military vehicles across a 300-meter wet gap. A gap crossing operation is a combined arms operation to project combat power across a linear obstacle.
