Spring overcoming winter can not be stopped, but the two seasons do not change without a fight. The streams and forest from a distance still appear to be in winter’s grip but upon close inspection the first native wildflowers are forcing their way through the winter leaf layers and the call of frogs and toads indicate that winter’s time is coming to an end.
