1887-1888 lighthouse

Leuchtturm Dornbusch, Hiddensee

 

The lighthouse with its 27,5 is the landmark of the German Baltic island of Hiddensee. It was built at the end of the 19th century, between 1887 and 1888 erbaut and remodeled between 1927 and 1929. Germany's last lighthouse keeper worked here until 1998, the operation is now automated.
