Empire State
I've visited the Empire State Building observation deck multiple times. The views are amazing, but there is one problem -- you don't see the main thing in Manhattan skyline -- Empire State Building itself.
Recently I had a realization that there are other famous observation decks or rather one that would be perfect. The Top of The Rock -- observation deck on top of Rockefeller Center. And I haven't been there a single time.
Today I can check that item off my list of things to do. Even though the weather was far from perfect and the sky was completely covered by gray clouds I came away with some great shots. I managed to capture a number of HDR shots by placing my camera on the fence and on the concrete blocks that are on the deck.
New York. April 2011.
