Nugent Mountain in early morning sunshine

From Big Bend national park, just west of Panther Junction and the Chisos mountain complex. Nugent mountain is a lone volcanic edifice that stands about 1,600 feet high. The mountain is made up of a massive igneous core with incredible vertical jointing along a sheer cliff face. It is quite beautiful. It is best seen in low light, preferably in the morning. Here I captured it with my little IR camera and converted it to black and white.
