wave patterned stacking rings II

These rings take their inspiration from Art Deco metalwork and the jewelry of Wendy Ramshaw. Five rings with thin but sturdy round bands stack together tightly with each element of the ring working together to form a larger, more complex whole. The five rings shown feature a wave pattern, with two of the rings containing stones-- an 5mm round iolite cab, and a 3mm faceted London blue topaz. All the rings are made from sterling silver. They rise above the finger to different heights with the tallest being about 3/4" above the ring shank. This photo shows some of the details of the stems that hold the elements of the rings up off the finger.

This was created as a custom order for an Etsy customer and is actually the first five in an eventual set of ten.
