Matter Over Mind

When she opened her eyes, she felt a laugh bubble up from her throat. She could SEE them. The reasons. The equations. Joyful peals of laughter dripped from her lips, one after the other. Awakened, she sees it all and begins to shed tears of mind numbing happiness. "I understand!" she cried in her pretty alto, "I can see them!"
