84/100 Graham (Explored)

I was walking down the road on Friday night when I met Graham. I smiled at him as we were about to pass and he smiled back so I stopped to talk.

He was a gracious guy who was more than happy to give me plenty of time to get my camera set up properly (the first few shots were dreadful as my iso was way off and my aperture needed adjusting). He didn't run off but stood happily making occasional conversation with me.

Graham looked sad, but real. A true city character. He was cradling a bottle of cider he had just bought and was on his way up the road. He smelled a bit of booze. When were were down we shook hands and I asked him what he was up to. He explained he was going to try and get some food having just spent his money on cider so I gave him a couple of quid and shook hands again.

Sadly Graham has no internet access so will not be likely to see his picture, however he was a nice guy to meet and I hope things work out okay for him!

This is shot 84 in my 100 Strangers Project. See all my shots so far.
