Nephroma resupinatum 'Pimpled Kidney Lichen' is a brown foliose lichen with some tomentum at the lobe tips. A few lobules present along the lobe margins. Lower surface is a pale yellow brown, densely tomentose with white papillate (pimples). Apothecia on lower surface at tips of lobes. Growing on a moss and lichen covered rotting log. Examined microscopically, Hilliard's Bay Provincial Park, Lesser Slave Lake, 3531May_23__2010
