While pulling film to scan from said storage unit yesterday, I stumbled upon 3 boxes of transparency film that I exposed back when I was still a teenager. It was my first 35mm camera a Yashica TL Electro with a prolly ~135mm prime lens. This is back when they'd let anybody carry a camera into a show.

While I've outgrown these bands a long, long time ago, these images were made back when the music was new. And while these images don't come close to my current and past live music photography, there are some decent images from the Doobie Brothers, Marshall Tucker show (Aug 1976) I have 18 selects to scan (out of 36). The other two boxes, from the same year, are Deep Purple, Nazereth and Neil Young, Steven Stills, Poco.

I was setting up a shot for today when this image found me. Annalise (3yo) came in to see what I was doing and why there were flashes coming from my office.

Nikkor 50mm f/3.5, 1 SB-800 camera right forward w/ceiling bounce TTL 0, pop up flash TTL -1.0, ceiling light and light table.
