Moorland Bothy
This image was made on Monday up on the Yorkshire Moors. This remote moorland Bothy caught our eye as a great subject for a pinhole image.
The image was shot on film, Ilford PanF 50 black and white film, using my Zero Image pinhole camera.
This was processed at home, the negative scanned in using an Epson V700 Scanner as a tiff and then dust spotted and toned in Photoshop.
I love using the pinhole camera in panoramic mode. This does mean you only get eight images from a roll of 120 film, but I really like the results.
I am running a film workshop for beginners and those wanting to give it a try, in Sheffield. Half of the day is spent teaching camera techniques and then in the afternoon we teach how to develop the film yourself easily at home without any need for a darkroom. We have cameras to borrow and you get a free film to use. You will develop your own film too, to take home with you. Full details of both dates on my website.
