A Walk in the Woods
I decided I have admired Chris Friels work for long enough - I should have a go myself. It is far from easy, too. I took around 100 images on a walk with Stan and less than 10 made me stop and give them a second glance.
The shutter speed, direction of movement and the amount of movement are all critical - as is, funnily enough, the composition. You can't just wave the camera about any old how pointing it at anything.
Needless to say, my respect for Chris and his consistently brilliant work has risen from massive to hero worship. I will post a few of my efforts, but you need to go look at the masters stream to see the proper thing.
I am excited to be running two workshops in the New Year with master landscape photographer Antony Spencer who won the Landscape Photographer of the Year competition. We have a day in Cornwall and another on the Jurassic coast of Dorset. You will find full details on my website via the link from my profile page below.
