Danceteria
Danceteria was a multi-level nightclub open from 1980 to 1986 at various locations in Manhattan, especially 30 West 21st Street. Starting with a really loud dancehouse floor, with another dance floor/stage above that with punk and new wave music. Above that was the TV floor, all tuned to proto-MTV, and the restaurant may have been here too, or yet above. Subteranian levels for the VIP lounges.
