The Falls

Here's another shot from last weekend in Yosemite Valley. After waking at 4:45am to a very foggy valley the only thing to do was to capture some intimate forest shots and a few around the Merced River then we spent the next few hours chasing the only light available at some of the more iconic locations in the valley, the sun started breaking through the clouds here and there so we captured what we could depending on where the light was. As we stood next to a flooded meadow the sky opened slightly and cast some sun down onto Yosemite Falls. My last trip here was in September and every water fall was dry, so it was nice actually see water flowing over the falls here. Thats the falls there off in the background mixed with some fog that was lingering around the top portion.
