Last Sunset of 2015

Yesterday I took a trip down to CDM (CoronaDelMar) to scout the coastline. My first stop was Pirates cove which turned out to be a tourist trap but did have some interesting formations and a couple of jetties leading out to sea. Then I went over to inspiration point for a few and then over to Little CDM to the south. There are a couple of rock formations there that I would like to photograph and since it was low tide I thought it would be worth the drive even though there were no clouds in the forecast. As I was exploring I discovered this little cave hidden back among the formations and decided to grab a sunburst sunset with Arch rock and Catalina Island in the background. The Dynamic range was so extreme in this composition that it required 5 exposures to capture it all and probably could have used a super over exposed frame as well. Hope you like it. :)
