Tree Swallow

I had a few hours to my self and walked around a pond to stretch my legs. I discovered nesting boxes for Tree Swallows and learned about their behavior.

 

I set up the tripod and focuses on a nesting box. I used a remote trigger to snap photos when I thought I saw something interesting. Many photos were deleted. This one was cropped a lot.

 

I have been busy moving horses to a new barn. and cleaning up the old one as we depart. I shoveled nearly 4 tons of gravel into a wheel barrow and moved it into the paddocks for raking yesterday. Claudia now has all five healthy horses in the same barn, which has a riding ring and round pen.
