Bishop Takes Queen
The scenery was incredible in Gros Morne National Park, but for me it was the pleasure of just being immersed in nature, away from my electronic devices, and pushing my body to a point it hasn't been in a long time. And the company was not too bad either. This image here is probably my favorite of the trip. To me, it typifies what it's like to be on a backpacking trip in beautiful country. Sarah's expression and body language here reminded me of someone looking to make their next move, planning their route through the landscape. Not so dissimilar, perhaps, to a game of chess.
