Glitter and Glimmer on 3rd Sunday in Advent

Riodinidae, Riodininae, Helicopini, Anteros bracteata.

 

Copalinga, Via Podocarpus, Zamora, Zamora Chinchipe, Ecuador.

 

This one was found at the bank of a little creek coming down from the hills and going down to the Rio Bombuscaro. Typical pose of mud puddling, together with other butterflies and probably all males.
