knit out of 430 grams of sari silk from artfibers yarn on sutter st in San Francisco, a fantastic shop with a very knowledgeable friendly staff. the yarn was a joy to work with. used size 10 needles 3 sts per inch and just started knitting a tube for 17 inches than started increasing every other round after dividing the stitches into eight increase points, wanted something different from an ordinary scarf. if you dont have a life it can be made in a day, if you have a life it can be made in a weekend ;-)
