Mursi man • Jinka, Lower Omo Valley, Ethiopia

The Mursi people are nomadic cattle herders and live in an isolated area close the Sudanese border, surrounded by the mountains of the Mago National Park in southwestern Ethiopia. Mursi women are famous for wearing clay plates in their lower lips, and both Mursi men and women feature very prominent body scarifications.
