This is a speed test of my connection from my Cox Home service. It comes with no IP addresses, blockages of ports 25 (outbound mail) and 80 (web server), and has gone up from $30-something/month to something around $50. The original speed, when we got the service in early 2001, was at least 5Mb downstream and a large fraction of that in the upstream direction. Also, port 25 wasn't blocked.
