Sitting on the border of Gansu and Sichuan Province, Langmusi (or Taktsang Lhamo) is a remote Tibetan village surrounded by breathtaking scenery. This is home for 2 Geluk monasteries - Sertri monastery in Gansu and Kirti monastery in Sichuan. Kirti Gompa or monastery (Namo Si) standing on the southern hills boasts the bigger complex and several sacred grottoes.
Monks are pretty much part of the landscape in Langmusi. You can see them everywhere, in the monastery grounds, out and about town, up in the mountains… ,everywhere
