This photo was taken last June in Garrucha, Almería (Spain), during the Spanish Grand Prix, part of the Class 1 World Powerboat Championship. This is one of the boats of Victory team.
We took lots of photographs that day, some from a ship, some from a dock. This one is part of a series we took from a dock, following the movement of the boat with the camera and shooting several times. Most of them came out quite clear. The panning effect was achieved by the movement of the camera, but I guess the waves had something to do with it too.

Hicimos esta foto el pasado mes de junio en Garrucha (Almería), donde se celebraba una de las pruebas del campeonato del mundo de C1, la F1 del mar :)
Hicimos algunas desde un barco, pero esta en concreto la sacamos desde la costa. Seguimos el movimiento de la lancha con la cámara disparando varias veces seguidas, y así conseguimos el effecto de barrido... en casi todas sale la lancha bastante nítida y el mar muy movido; creo que ayudó también el hecho de que el mar estuviera un poco agitado :)
