Toronto folk musician Ms Nadia High. When we as Africans wear the colour yellow we are embodying the essence of the Goddess Oshun and the God Shango.her male counterpart. As I am half East Indian these spirits are celebrated in Vedic traditions as well. In Hinduism the Goddess Oshun is called, Mother Lakshmi. So from my two cultures, Ase and Namaste 🙏
