It was raining and thundering briefly in the evening, a welcome change from the week-long heatwave we've had recently. I decided to go out on the deck to enjoy the fresh smells and cooling effects of the summer rain. It was very relaxing and refreshing.
Then I found several filled gardening pots that were left behind from The Move. I didn't expect to see anything on the deck, but, at the same time, I wasn't surprised that they were just abandoned. Whatever was planted in them didn't get far at all. I also found a mostly-full bag of gardening soil in the storage closet and a few more pots. Maybe I could try my hand at growing something.
