Agapanthus

Agapanthus are native to Sotrh Africa. However they are very common (and hardy) in Australia. A very common sight around Christmas in Adelaide is to see numerous gardens with rows of these beautiful flowers. They are commonly known as lily of the Nile (or African lily in the UK), although they are not lilies. This one was taken from our back garden
