Fast Shutter

Dettifoss

Iceland

Marianne and I will be doing a couple of talks for camera clubs and photographic societies this year. Part of that talk is about the technicalities of coming back with images that you can work with for a final result. I chose this image as an example of a fast shutter speed to convey a different sesne of water motion compared to the 'usual' waterfall preference of a slower shutter. Dettifoss's immense flow probably lends itself better to a crashing kind of appearance from a fast shutter I think. If you are from PAFC, see you soon :)
