Organ Pipes
Organ Pipes formation : Mount Wellington.
These set of vertical dolerite rock columns really look grand from afar as their namesake suggests. The organ pipe path itself I found to be a little underwhelming. This is the best view of the formation from the 30 minutes of walking of which approximately 100m of open views of the formation occur! It's a good stroll from here to the summit though and still breathtaking.
Single shot with polarising filter edited in photoshop : couple of colour balance layers to bring out the rock colour and give the sky a bit of blue ( polariser made it almost pitch black ). Sharpening and reduction of highlights in other layers.
