Teen Summit 2019
The sixth annual Teen Summit showcase was held at Hoyt Sherman Place on Saturday, February 9th with workshops held at the Des Moines Social Club the previous day. New to the summit this year was the first-ever RunDSM Volume 1 zine, a collection of 20 poems from current and former students with proceeds going to college scholarships. Renowned poet Aja Monet headlined the showcase after more than 20 student performances.
