East High Presents Laramie Project
Photos from the dress rehearsal of the East High School Theatre Department's presentation "The Laramie Project."
Written as a theatrical experiment, after the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming, and formed around interviews with people involved with the murder (or simply living in this small town), the play has gone on to become both a masterful piece of storytelling and a strong statement on the perceptions of both LGBT people and those believed to hate them.
Performances will be on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18 at 7:30 PM and on Sunday, April 19 at 2:30 PM. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students.
