Grumman Greenhouse - Grumman S-2A Tracker (Bu136536) (N436DF)
This unusual work of art was conceived by Jordan Griska. This aircraft, which was a tool of war in the defense of the nation, is now a tool of war against hunger, having been converted into a greenhouse to grow herbs and other plants to help feed the hungry of Philadelphia.
The identity of this airplane is very confusing. I located the build number from a reliable Stoof Web site. The serial N436DF was also assigned to a turboprop powered tracker, CDF number 76. The build number (which is not the same as the MSN - in this case, 445) is the best way to identify these planes.
