On February 27-29, 2012, DLA Piper's Chicago office hosted the Basics of Litigation Practice Academy for 44 first-year associates from the Litigation, Patent Litigation, Labor and Employment Law, Franchise and Distribution, Patent Prosecution and Finance groups. Through lectures, demonstrations and mock depositions, the Academy focused on key skills new litigators utilize within their first six months to one year at the firm.
