House Sparrow.
At 5 to 6 1/2 inches in length the male House Sparrow has a black throat, white cheeks and a chestnut nape with a gray crown and rump. Females and young arestreaked dull drown on top and a dingy white on the bottom with a pale eyebrow.
They inahbit cities, towns, and agricultural areas.
Introduced to New York City's Central Park in 1850 they can now be found throughout temperate North America.
