Day 281 More new leaves.
So, a year ago I totally thought I killed this plant. We were in the middle of a move, and I forgot about it in the car. It was the middle of summer and it got roasted. I didn't throw it out, I held out hope that I could revive it. I cut off all the withered leaves and branches, which didn't leave me much to work with. Well, from the stalk 4 new leaves started to grow, then they promptly died. Then the second stalk that had never produced any leaves started to grow. The first stalk shriveled and died so I pulled it out. Now a year later my Japanese Aralia is just about the same size it was before I baked it in my car. :)
