Randy's Donuts - Fuji GS645S - Reala 100
805 West Manchester Avenue
Inglewood, Los Angeles County, California 90301
Randy's Donuts was built in 1953 as part of the Big Donut Drive-In chain. It was sold in 1976 to Robert Eskow who named it Randy's Donuts after his son. In 1978 brothers Ron and Larry Weintraub bought it and are the current owners.
I see this place almost every day from the 405. Chances are you have seen it in a movie or TV show, as it has appeared in many over the years. I have never seen it without a line of customers waiting.
The giant donut sign/sculpture is constructed with a steel rebar frame and covered with Gunnite, a spray on concrete often used for the sides of swimming pools.
camera: Fuji GS645S medium format rangefinder
film: Fujicolor Reala 100
lens: 60mm EBC Fujinon W f/4
