IFA Wartburg 353S Knight - GS645S - TMAX 400 (TMY)

This East German 4-door sedan is the first Wartburg I have ever seen. The 353S was the last 353 (Knight) model and was produced between 1985 and 1988. It has very simple 992cc 3-cylinder two-stroke engine and a 4-speed manual transmission.
The simple two-stroke engine does not have chance of passing US or California emissions requirements, and other components in the car probably do not meet DOT safety requirements. That is probably why this is the first one I have seen.
