Pudler's Wood
Today is the first day this ancient wood has been open to the public, forming part of a 170 acre area being reforested around Sandridge, just outside St Albans - the wood is completely filled with bluebells and the sight and the scent is breathtaking. The surrounding farm land is about to be planted with trees to 850 acres - to form Heartwood Forest, intended to rival Sherwood Forest.
