About 30 years ago I found this object in the garbagedump of the Kriegsmarine anti-aircraft battery on the east side of Vlieland.
Eversince I was trying to find out the function of this object.
It was clear that it was an instrument used for aiming a cannon, but I never found a image of this instrument.
Recently I found a postcard which shows this instrument in use.
With this, an after waiting 30 years, the object had name and image.
Sofar this postcard is the only thing to be found about this aiming device, even Google does not now it, and if Google can't find it, you could almost say it does not exist.
