Autumn in Ohio
Last week’s 52Frame assignment focused on the theme of Nature, with an added challenge of using an exposure time of 10 seconds or more. I had numerous options for this assignment since nature is all around us if we take the time to look. Fortunately, being from Northeast Ohio, I have access to many green spaces with bodies of water. One of these locations served as the perfect backdrop for my project, especially as autumn begins to set in and the trees start changing colors. As I was preparing my camera and tripod, I came across the ND filter I had used for the solar eclipse last April. Inspired, I decided to embrace the extra challenge. After doing some quick calculations, I determined that I needed at least 180 seconds of exposure time. Ultimately, I ended up with an exposure of 207 seconds.
