DeeAshley says: I say this over and over..., I love lines! I've always drawn in linear patterns, sometimes straight and rigid, sometimes smooth, with lots of shading. This reminds me of a colorful, digital (much more sophisticated!), version of those drawings. The black background is perfect.

DeeAshley says: I see tons of macros, but I love the soft colors, the symmetry, and the flower appears as though it's praying, giving it a really powerful quality... I don't know how to describe it better (it's late!), but I just feel drawn to this one.

DeeAshley says: I'm fairly particular when it comes to abstract artwork, because a lot of times I don't feel a connection when it seems to stark or to geometrical, but something about this piece really stuck with me... I tend to look at art from a very emotive and subjective viewpoint - probably because of all the research I had to do in school, it is my way of getting all of that scientific objectivity out of my head!
