IN REMEMBRANCE OF LARRY KRAMER - Larry Kramer died on 27 May 2020 at the age of 84. He had just begun to write a play titled 'An Army of Lovers Must Not Die' in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Larry Kramer was an American playwright, author, film producer, public health advocate and LGBT rights activist. He co-founded the Gay Men's Health Crisis, an American organisation assisting people living with AIDS. He was the founder of ACT UP, an important direct action protest organisation. The outspoken political activism of Larry Kramer and ACT UP brought more attention to the AIDS crisis from 1987 (source: Wikipedia).
