She is borrowing one of Firefly's spare eyes, till we find something better
Sindel is the daughter of Cronus, the leader of the Elysian Fields (where all the great heroes of myth reside after death).
Best friend of Persephone (Queen of the underworld).
One day they were bored and tried to joke around with the Ferryman. He got furious and as result refused to let anyone pass to the underworld. Wich caused a lot of lost souls to be stuck in the void.
Persephone refused to take responsibilty and accused Sindel of doing everything alone, because she was just a bored little spoilt brat. Sindel got a punishment; she was banned to the earth to live amongst the living for an undecided amount of time.
