Royal Legend Safari Lodge is located along the banks of a seasonal river in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The luxurious chalets all command magnificent views of the watercourse and surrounding vegetation. Each chalet was built with minimum intrusion into the natural environment, and guests can appreciate an almost unbroken view of the river through the glass doors on two sides of the chalet. All the chalets have air conditioning and large mosquito net over the bed.
Timbavati Game Reserve shares a common unfenced border with the Kruger National Park allowing the animal’s free range and ensuring guests the opportunity to view the greatest diversity of wildlife that Africa has to offer. Game drives in open safari vehicles with highly trained rangers and trackers offer the privilege of experiencing a true bushveld environment, as well as the prospect of seeing Africa’s “Big Five” - Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard.
