Canon EF 200mm F/2L IS USM lens test

We took out the Canon's beautiful behemoth 200mm f2 lens out to the East Asian Games to test how good the IS works.

 

It was mated to the Canon 7D and took the photos without a tripod to see if the IS could help to get usable shots with this 2.5kg lens!

 

This is a really good sports lens. Fast aperture coupled with IS.

 

1/500sec, f2.0, ISO 100, IS on mode 2.
