Getting my current position within the Walt Disney Company for my second college program was disappointment after disappointment. But because of some major self study to better myself as a person, I was equipped with skills to make the most of every situation. At first I was told I was going to be in attractions. This was low on my interest for working at Disney. I even called to see if they could get me Photopass again, and they replied with a "Take it or leave it" offer back. So I took it. So this is where I first applied the magic phrase, "How it this perfect for me?" Turns out, if I wish to extend (which I do), I theoretically have two skills (or options) for positions that would require minimal training. I am extra valuable.
Next, I found out that I was going to be working in Animal Kingdom. I am still a poor college program cast member and living in Florida (or anywhere really) is not cheap. I looked up the hours for the Animal Kingdom and the park closes most of the year around 5:00 pm. Hours are going to be hard to come by. I had to ask the question again. "How is THIS perfect?" Well, I am able to wander the parks freely after my shifts are done (with a change of clothes that is) and take pictures. This gives me so much time to focus on this website that I love and corresponding with you all.
This picture is the Tree of My Life. It reminds me every day that I can make a good situation out of a bad, simply by looking into it more. One of the greatest lessons you will find in this life is that things that happen are just events. It's us that classifies them as good or bad. Try spinning every "Bad" situation into a positive one and you'll be amazed with what you will find. Sometimes it comes quickly, others you'll had to really wonder if it would ever be perfect, but it always is. I love this picture and I know that the skies may be dark, but life grows stronger after the rain.
How is your current situation "PERFECT" for you?
