Alpha layout.jpg
This is the layout that I currently use with my Naneu Pro Alpha SE camera bag. The contents are as follows:
1x Nikon D50
1x Tokina 12-24mm lens
1x Nikkor 18-200mm VRII lens
1x Nikkor 50mm f1.8 lens
1x Nikkor 18-55mm II lens
1x Nikon battery charger with cable
1x Nikon SB-400 flash
1x Eneloop battery charger (for flash batteries)
1x Blower brush
2x Micro-fiber cloths
1x Mini-usb to usb cable
My D50 always goes into the bag with either the 12-24mm or the 18-200mm VR lens attached. Either lens can go into the space on the lower right. The SB-400 goes on top of the lens and the velcro strap holds everything down. I have extra padding on the bottom of the bag for protection.
The D50 goes in sideways. That is, if the bag is standing up, with the bottom of the bag on the ground, for example, the D50 would be oriented the same way. Bottom of the camera towards the bottom, top towards the top, and the right side would be facing out of the camera compartment. Since I use a hand strap instead of the neck strap, this makes it easier and faster to remove the camera.
