La notte é scesa

e brilla la cometa

che ha segnato il cammino.

Sono davanti a Te, Santo Bambino!

Tu,Re dell'universo, ci hai insegnato

che tutte le creature sono uguali , che le distingue solo la bontà,

tesoro immenso,

dato al povero e al ricco.

Gesù, fa ch'io sia buono, che in cuore non abbia che dolcezza.

Fa che il tuo dono

s'accresca in me ogni giorno

e intorno lo diffonda,

nel Tuo nome.

and the comet shines

that marked the path.

I stand before you, Holy Child!

You, King of the universe, you taught us

that all creatures are equal, which distinguishes only the goodness,

immense treasure,

given to the poor and the rich.

Jesus, grant that I may be good, that the heart does not have that sweetness.

Let your gift

Every day, I will continue to grow

and spread it around,
